Forklift alarms

Builders' merchant Travis Perkins has bought 60 bbstek reversing alarms from Brigade Electronics for use on its forklift fleet. The 92 decibel bbs-tek uses broadband sound to provide an alarm that is directional and not masked by other sounds. Travis specified the system after it was found to cut noise pollution on trials.
