Former Interserve director to head up Bam FM

Bam Construct has appointed former Interserve operations director Kath Fontana as managing director for its FM business.

Ms Fontana has worked for organisations including Serco and Aspire Defence Services and has also worked as business transformation director at Interserve.

Bam Construct currently provides FM services to 39 schools, three hospitals, 22 offices and other facilities including law and order facilities.

Chief executive Graham Cash, said: “Kath Fontana’s appointment as managing director of BAM’s facilities management business. signals our ambition to extend our reach in the FM sector.

“Kath will lead a significant expansion of our FM business over the next five years. Our aim is to win a broader base of clients and extend the services we provide to them. It is a logical development for a company like ours that understands how buildings such as schools, universities and offices work’

Bam FM is one of the businesses owned by BAM Construct UK, along with Bam Properties, Bam Design, Bam Plant, Bam Services Engineering and Bam Construction.
