Formwork firm's profit's fillip

Berkshire firm Addington Formwork saw pre-tax profits climb more than a third in the year to August 2007.

The Bracknell-based business racked up a £1.9 million profit, 40 per cent up on last time. Revenue rose 21 per cent to £25.5 million.

In a brief note accompanying the report and accounts filed at Companies House, the firm said: “The directors consider the profit achieved to be satisfactory given the trading conditions.”

The number of staff at the business remained flat at 24.
