Foster tower approved by Lambeth

Developer Newlands Enterprises secured planning permission last night to redevelop former offices at Hampton House on the Albert Embankment in Vauxhall, south London.

The Foster + Partners-designed scheme will feature a 167 room apart-hotel, 242 apartments and retail units in two towers of 13 and 27 storeys.

The project is one of a series of towers planned for the area including the St George’s Wharf tower and London & Regional’s Vauxhall Bondway twin tower development.
