Four shortlisted for £190m Omagh Hospital PFI

Sperrin Lakeland Health and Social Care Trust has shortlisted four consortia for the £190 million Omagh Hospital PFI scheme in Northern Ireland.

The shortlisted consortia for the 30-year scheme include Balfour Beatty-led Consort; Skanska-led DirectHealth; John Laing FGA, featuring John Laing Investments and Irish builder Gilbert Ash; and the Northern Ireland Health group, including FCC Construction and Interserve.

The new health campus will be built on the Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital site and will include primary community and intermediate services on one site.

It is one of the first PFI hospitals to be procured using the CD process.
