French in line for PPP £150m

CENTRAL LONDON

A CONSORTIUM featuring Bougues is preferred bidder to build and run new headquarters for the Home Office and Prison Service in London.

The Annes Gate Property consortium, which also features FM provider Ecovert and financier Charterhouse, is due to sign the Public Private Partnership deal next spring.

Construction work is estimated to cost £150 million with work due to start next summer and finish by 2004.
