Galliford Try responds to cover pricing allegations

Galliford Try has confirmed it received a Statement of Objections on the Office of Fair Trading’s findings into alleged infringements of competition law.

The firm, which has a turnover of £1.8 billion and could be fined a maximum of £180 million, said it is fully co-operating with the enquiry and will respond accordingly.

Galliford Try carried out a full review of its policies following a review of its practices by the OFT last year and said it is confident that its policies are now robust.
