Helical Bar development director Gerald Kaye today will take over as president of the British Council for Offices.
Mr Kaye will take over from Michael Hussey at the BCO Annual General Meeting in London after spending 16 years at Helical Bar.
He said: “The last 12 months have been a challenge, but we have continued to see record numbers of award entries, a continuing of top-end research programme output, and more and more member events on a range of topics and themes. I thank Mike Hussey for his stewardship of the last year, and look forward to another stimulating year ahead”
His appointment to President will see Gary Wingrove, Head of Construction Management at BT, assume the role of Senior Vice President. James Wates, Deputy Chairman of the Wates Group will become Junior Vice President, supported by the Honorary Treasurer, Robin Brodie-Cooper, who is also Partner at Gleeds International Management and Construction Consultants.
