Giant M&S store plans for Leeds

Marks & Spencer is to create one of its largest stores outside London in the new Eastgate Quarter development in Leeds.

The £800 million outlet will include the complete range of clothes offered by M&S, as well as a home section, restaurant and bakery.

The store is part of the Eastgate Quarter development, a joint venture between Hammerson and Leeds-based Town Centre Securities.

It includes more than 100 shops as well as restaurants, bars, a hotel, office accommodation up to 600 new homes and 2,700 car parking spaces.
