Gleeds to oversee £500m Croydon job

Consultant Gleeds has been selected to provide cost management services to the £500 million Cherry Orchard Road Development in Croydon, south London for private property firm Menta.

The 1.7ha mixed-use scheme will be made up of four towers ranging from 23 to 52 storeys high.

It will include one million sq ft of residential space and 250,000 sq ft of office space. A new public piazza and urban park will be created as part of the regeneration scheme.

A planning application is due to be submitted later this summer and subject to consent being granted the project is due to start construction later this year.
