Vauxhall parent company GM has launched a components operation to allow manufacturers outside of the car and truck sector to reduce research and development costs.GM Power Components will offer a range of engines, injector pumps, transmissions and similar parts to any bona fide manufacturer, either off the shelf or tailored to their requirements, the firm said. It has also teamed up with development specialist Millbrook to offer 'confidential engineering services' to manufacturers.
