Grafton snaps up two regional merchants

Irish materials group Grafton has snapped up two builders' merchants for an undisclosed sum.
It bought Dublin-based plumbing, heating and drainage firm Davies which has an annual turnover of £25.3 million and owns assets worth £16.7 million as well as Garvey's Builders Merchants based in Roscommon, Ireland which has a £6.7 million turnover and assets worth £1.7 million.
