Graham wins £11m Scottish Uni deal

Graham Construction has been awarded an £11 million contract to build the first stage of a residential development at the University of Stirling.

The contract is to develop residential accomodation in the first of three deals to be awarded.

Karen Plouviez, director of estates & campus services, said it is the largest capital project the University has undertaken since it was created in the late 1960s.

Gary Holmes, regional director for Graham Construction hailed the deal as a “real boost” for the contractor and said it will be seeking to build relationships with the local construction industry and its supply chain.

The University is committed to the highest standards of sustainable design and low energy use, and aims to achieve a BREEAM Excellent environmental performance rating
