Health team

Investment firm Equion and Laing O'Rourke have won an £88 million package to improve primary care facilities in Leicester. The team was told last week it had picked up the City of Leicester Local Improvement Finance Trust scheme to upgrade doctors' surgeries for the city's two health trusts and the city council.

Work will start on the 25year deal as soon as a contract is agreed and a partnership formed.
