Heap big chief

POWERSCREEN has sold its first high-capacity Turbo Chieftain 1400 screen to land reclamation specialist VHE.

The 500 tonnes an hour crawler-mounted machine is being used in the restoration of the former Hawthorne Colliery for contractor One North East. The Chieftain is being operated by VHE plant subsidiary Shafton Engineering for on-site recycling of concrete, aggregate and soil.
