HIGHER EDUCATION: Two new crane courses have been launched by the National Construction College. Both new courses - Pedestrian Operated Tower Crane and Crane Supervisor - are fully operational as categories within the Construction Plant Competence Scheme. NCC plant manager Andy Newell said: 'As self-erecting tower cranes have become more popular, the need to have the right training in place to operate them has increased.'
