Hirer offers 'you name it' flexible first

Plant

A NEW hirer has started an operation in Halesowen in the West Midlands that it claims breaks the mould of traditional hire operations.

First National Plant Rental is setting out to offer the customer new hire machines of any make and model together with flexible long-term rental terms.

General manager Bill Roberts claims that the flexibility is the key to the operation.

He said: 'We are not limiting the customer to any one machine and all the plant is new. We can rent out JCB, Manitou or Case for example. Often the customer knows just what he or she wants for a specific job.

'Once we know what model is needed, we can tailor a rental package to suit.'

Mr Roberts said the hire terms on offer, backed by agreements with manufacturers, banks and leasing agreements, were significantly longer than conventional hire: 'Theaverage casual hire of plant averages out at around six weeks, but we can offer rentals of two years and well beyond.

'Likewise, if a client wants to change the agreement or even buy it, that can also be catered for in the agreement.'
