Ho Chi Minh City traffic plan

THE Overseas Development Administration has assigned the MVA Consultancy, Maunsell and TRL to prepare a transport masterplan for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The city's road network is crumbling, traffic volumes are increasing and the Vietnam government is planning a series of major construction projects to ease the problems.

The schemes include a series of new roads, road widening measures, an additional Saigon river crossing, an elevated road to the airport; and a mass transit system.
