Hoaxers sabotage emergency mobile scheme

Hoaxers are sabotaging a campaign to encourage people to store emergency contact details in their mobile phones, ambulance service officials said today.
The In Case of Emergency scheme was launched by a Cambridge-based paramedic in April and gained widespread attention earlier this month following the London bombings.

People are encouraged to add the entry Ice into their mobile phone address book and under the entry list the name and number of the person they would like contacted in an emergency.
