WEMBLEY subbie Honeywell has axed 100 jobs from the scheme as the delayed project nears the finish line.
The company now has a workforce of 90 on the project to complete commissioning works, which should be handed over to main contractor Multiplex by the end of the month.
Amicus held talks with Honeywell on Monday to agree claims for its members, who were given less than a week's notice by the firm.
A Multiplex spokeswoman denied reports of payment disputes between the firm and Honeywell, leading to the reduced workforce.
She said: 'The job is winding down and that is all there is to it. It's business as usual.'
A Honeywell spokesman refused to comment.
