Hospital framework up for grabs

Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking contractors to bid for an £18 million framework agreement to refurbish existing facilities and build new ones.

The four-year contract, worth up to £4.5 million a year, will see the winner working across John Radcliffe Hospital and Churchill Hospital in Oxford as well as Horton Hospital in Banbury.

The work will consist of approximately 15 per cent new build and 85 per cent refurbishment projects. It will range from building work and mechanical services to surface finishes and decoration work.

A start date of 1 August 2008 has been set for the works, which are due to be finished by the end of July 2011.

Interested firms have until 27 March to submit tenders.
