NEWS - Subbies have their say on Revenue policy

Peter runs a groundwork company in Leicestershire: 'I simply refuse to pay my lads attendance money. It's hard enough motivating them at present and they are on day work. Heaven knows why the Revenue thinks I would want to assume total employment responsibility for them, they would just take the piss. Not turning up is bad enough but having to pay them for not turning up would be madness. I'd rather close my business.'
