IHS gets 'substantial investment' from Beltrae Partners

Heating products company Invisible Heating Systems has received “substantial investment” from Irish private equity firm Beltrae Partners.

IHS – which is based in Ullapool, Scotland – designs products including underfloor and wall heating and cooling, heat pumps, solar thermal and PV systems, domestic water systems and road energy systems.

The company employs 25 staff in England and Scotland.

IHS said the investment from Beltrae was “key to the company’s strategy to significantly expand its market share throughout the UK and Ireland”.

IHS director Henk Verweijmeren said: “We reached the decision that the company was ready to grow even further and we needed assistance to do this – we believe that this step will enable IHS develop into an even more successful business over the next few years.”
