CONCRETE repair and structural refurbishment contractor Makers, formerly Makers Industrial, was fined £7,500 last week after pleading guilty to a health and safety offence. Thames Magistrates' Court was told that an 11-year-old boy was struck by falling debris from a site in east London where Makers was working.
