VOLVO has bounced back from its failed bid for truckmaker Scania with a £960 million merger deal with Renault's VI heavy truck division. The deal creates the second largest heavy truckmaker in the world, behind Mercedes. Volvo has exchanged 15 per cent of its own shares for 100 per cent of Renault VI's.
