In pictures: the new-look Borough Market

Jestico + Whiles reveals its progress on the Borough Market redevelopment in London.

The firm is working with engineers WS Atkins and contractor Skanska on the structure, which forms part of new rail infrastructure buildings and related structures at Borough Viaduct.

The new Borough Market structure will incorporate an extended Green Market and features steel frames with glazed screens running along the street frontages.

Other works in progress also designed by Jestico + Whiles include the rebuilding of part of Borough Market using some of the original Victorian cast iron structure, a three-storey office and retail development on Bedale Street and an additional retail and office building on Borough High Street.
