CIOB chief Chris Blythe receives OBE as construction figures recognised in New Year's Honours

Chartered Institute of Building chief executive Chris Blythe has received an OBE in the New Year’s Honours.

Mr Blythe, who has led the organisation for 17 years, was recognised for services to construction and the government.

Michael Conway, chief executive of Kent-based infrastructure services firm FM Conway, received an MBE for services to construction, infrastructure support and road safety.

Department for Transport senior executive officer for traffic and engineering Roger Mackintos was awarded an MBE.

Janice Peters, founder of consultants Katalytik, received an MBE for services to women in engineering and science, while Aecom director Ant Wilson became an MBE for services to building and engineering. See the full list here.
