Inquest into builder death on school site

An inquest into the death of a builder crushed by a dumper truck in front of three young children will begin late in July, more than a year after the incident occurred.

The Wiltshire Coroner will investigate the accident which killed John Laing employee Anthony Lockey while at work on a school site in Swindon last June.

The 48-year-old had been installing storage sheds at Red Oaks Primary School when the incident happened.

It was witnessed by three pupils, believed to have only been about five years of age, as they waited to be collected by their parents.
