InteriorExterior claims £25m deal

InteriorExterior has snapped up a £25 million deal to build a residential complex in west London for CIT Developments.
The Marylebone Village Estate, in Aybrook Street, will cover 170,000 sq ft and include 38 affordable homes and 89 flats for private sale. Construction of an underground car park for residents will also come under the deal.

The project will see the relocation of the EDF Energy substation, located within the basement of the existing Aybrook Street building. InteriorExterior will have to construct a new substation in the new underground car park ramp before the existing one can be demolished.

Work is set for completion in September 2007.
