Interserve has been announced preferred bidder on a £100 million seven year residential and corporate property contract in East London and Essex.
The contract for housing provider East Thames Group, which includes a provision to extend to fifteen years in total, is an integrated repairs and maintenance contractto deliver services to 13,000 properties across East London and Essex.
It also includes a framework option to allow neighbouring public sector bodies access to the improved services and reduced costs of Interserve’s approach.

“This opportunity with East Thames Group broadens our residential maintenance portfolio, and will allow us to support the charity in regenerating East London and Essex to create communities where people want to live.”
Interserve will deliver a strategic asset management service, advising East Thames Group on the most effective maintenance investments across their portfolio.
They will also provide planned and responsive repairs and maintenance to East Thames Group’s residential housing and corporate buildings; estate services to the local areas; project works across the property portfolio; and building refurbishment between lettings.
