Italian firm looks for UK launch

PLANT

ITALIAN firm Messersi is looking for distributors in the UK to offer its range of mini excavators and tracked dumpers.

The manufacturer will also add skid steers to its product line at the Intermat show in Paris.

The Ancona-based company, which started making dumpers and concrete mixers in 1957 and claims to have invented the tracked mini-dumper, is looking seriously at export markets for the first time.

The minis range from 980 kg to 1.7 tonnes and the tracked dumpers up to 1.5 tonnes but the manufacturer is adding a 6-tonne midi with offset boom at Intermat.
