Jarvis management buyout completed

SENIOR managers at Jarvis Newman have completed a management buyout of the fit-out specialist.

David Freeborn becomes chief executive and his brother Nigel joint managing director with Peter Kilby.

The management team has overseen an increase in turnover from £13 million to £40 million over the past three years.

Mr Freeborn said: 'I am delighted that we have been able to take independent control of such a strong business with an excellent track record and a reputation in its target sectors.

'Our independence now gives us the freedom to further increase turnover and profitability.'

The new management is looking to develop even closer relationships with its regular blue-chip clients and forge better links with subcontractors and suppliers at all levels of the supply chain.

Mr Freeborn said: 'We have the benefit of quality staff at all levels, which will enable us to drive the business forward constructively, working closely with existing and new clients and developing model supply chain relationships.'
