Jarvis sells council support service stake

Jarvis has sold its 80 per cent share in its support services partnership with Herefordshire Council to Amey for £3.55 million.

The firm has sold its stake in Herefordshire Jarvis Services Limited, which provides highways and traffic services, grounds maintenance, street and building cleaning, recycling facilities, building management and maintenance services.

Completion of the sale has been made with the agreement of the council who own the remaining 20 per cent share in the business.

Jarvis executive chairman Steven Norris, said: “I am delighted that we have agreed the sale of our share in Herefordshire Jarvis Services.


“This transaction completes a further strategic element in the turnaround of Jarvis.”
