JCB weighs in with excavator

JCB HAS launched a new demolition-spec excavator, the 33tonne JS330XD.

The third demolition machine in the range, the 330XD incorporates heavy-duty features such as a chassis-mounted FOPS cage, reinforced revolving frame and heavy-duty guards for the track motor and turret. In addition, the counterweight and upper structure have buffers to protect the machine, along with predrilled track frames to allow the fitting of full-length track guards.

In common with the rest of JCB's tracked excavators, the machine comes with the CAPS II engine and hydraulics management system and Nephron filters for the hydraulic system.

The XD machines also feature three boom options - standard, straight and three piece highreach, along with an optional merged hydraulic circuit for extra crusher performance.
