Joint venture closes on Derby deal

Arden Partnership is to start work on a £36.4 million project for the Derbyshire Mental Health Services NHS Trust after reaching financial close on the deal.

The partnership, a joint venture of the Costain and Alfred McAlpine groups, will design, build and maintain a series of high dependency units, a resource centre and clinical services building over two Derby sites.

Costain will design and build the facilities with Alfred McAlpine to provide maintenance services.
