Jury rules accidental death on farm fatal

An jury returned a verdict of accidental death after an inquest heard how a construction worker was crushed to death when a two-tonne slab of concrete fell on him in Gloucester in October 2005.

Robert Sellick, 62, was pinned between two concrete panels during work on a dairy farm extension at Oakey Farm, Moreton Valence. Mr Sellick had been employed to build a new diary unit.

The inquest heard that Mr Sellick - director of RNS Construction Dorset Ltd - died of internal injuries.
