Kensington & Chelsea TMO offers £4m repair work

Kensington & Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation has advertised a repair and maintenance contract worth between £2.5 million and £4 million.

Work will cover responsive repairs and maintenance works and void refurbishment across homes in the borough.

Between five and 10 bidders will be invited to tender for the deal. Firms have until 22 October to express an interest.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea passed management of 9,760 properties to the TMO in 1996.

The TMO was recognised as one of the country’s first Arms Length Management in September 2002, and took over the management of the Capital Programme from the Council in October 2002.
