Kent council starts consultant search

Firms are invited to tender for an £18.9 million building maintenance consultancy contract for Kent County Council.

The contract will be split into three lots and the council aims to appoint one consultant per lot.

Work will include roof repair and maintenace work including building surveying, project management, M&E services engineering and appointing a CDM co-ordinator.

Up to nine bidders will be invited to tender for the deal. Three consultants will be invited to bid per lot but some consultants may be invited to tender for more than one lot.

Firms have until 8 August to express an interest.
