Killing fine

NEWS - IN BRIEF

Site manager Robert Dickinson was fined £10,000 at the Old Bailey last week after painter and decorator Peter Coldspring was electrocuted at a domestic job in Croydon in August 2003.Mr Dickinson was originally accused of manslaughter but charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.

Installation and Refurbishment Solutions, where Mr Dickinson is a director, was fined £30,000 and subcontractor Peter Bell was fined £2,000.
