Kurdish trip prompts second visit

A BRITISH delegation is planning a second visit to Iraq next year to look into work opportunities in the Kurdish part of the country.

A number of companies, including Mott MacDonald and Scott Wilson, flew to Irbil, the commercial centre of Kurdistan, on a trip organised by British Expertise, formerly the British Consultants and Construction Bureau.

Representatives from Mott MacDonald have already returned to the region to follow up a number of transport opportunities.

The delegation met 14 ministers, including Kurdish president Massoud Barzani.
