Lager than life at Morrison

MORRISON Construction staff got on their bikes to raise more than £3,000 for the Imperial Cancer Fund in a gruelling Cycle for Life event.

The workers rode 8 km around Marlow in Buckinghamshire, where Morrison's new southern region office is located.

Divisional director Peter Horsburgh said: 'Now that Morrison has moved in we thought the local five-mile cycle ride offered a golden opportunity for us to contribute funds for the charity and introduce Morrison to the local community.'

Morrison also contributed to the Cycle for Life around Britain last summer, when a relay team of

10 soldiers from the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders competed in a nonstop 6,600 km ride around Britain.

Morrison supplied back-up vehicles, maintenance, spare equipment and mobile accommodation for the soldiers.
