Land Secs sells Liverpool centre for £76.5m

Land Securities has confirmed it has sold St John’s Centre in Liverpool for a price of £76.5m to InfraRed Capital Partners.

The developer put the 38,370 sq m shopping centre up for sale last month.

Land Securities retail portfolio managing director Richard Akers said: “We have recently completed a number of asset management initiatives at St Johns which have successfully positioned it as a value offer based centre in the heart of Liverpool. The sale will allow us to recycle the capital into other opportunities.”

Jones Lang LaSalle acted for Land Securities.
