Dumfries and Galloway Council will send out tenders for a £95 million scheme in Scotland to four firms this month, following a ninemonth delay. Newschools (Atkins/Mowlem), Canmore/Gleeson/Mitie, Jarvis and AWG/Morrison are in the running for the deal to revamp the authority's entire schools estate. The project was set back after the Scottish Executive asked the council to re-examine the business case for the scheme.
