LAUNCHES: SED boomtime

Plant

GENIE is launching a 40 m telescopic boom at SED in June, the first in a family of large booms from the Newark powered access company.

The S-125 incorporates four-wheel steer alongside standard four-wheel drive, allowing a variety of steer options, with the wheel position automatically adjusting to the steering mode.

The S-125 also claims to have an industry-leading outreach of 24.4 m from the four-section boom, as well as variable steer geometry.

This allows a high degree of manoeuvrability, along with a lift capacity of 227 kg.

The machine features hydraulically operated extendable axles without position-locking pins and a new control system, offering menu-based adjustments and automatic calibration.
