Layher on deck

LAYHER has launched a new modular steel decking system designed to be compatible with traditional tube and fittings.

The system is rigid enough to remove the need for ledgers, transoms or ledger braces and lasts for up to 15 years of continuous use, according to the company.

DuraDeck comprises three components: transoms to provide the structural element and a load-bearing platform; non-slip steel boards in lengths from 0.73 m to 4.1 m and widths of 0.32 m and 0.19 m; and board locks, with or without toe housings, to prevent uplift of the boards.
