Leggat buyout announced

Scottish building firm Bridgend has bought one of the country’s oldest plant hire firms, Leggat.

The company plans to use the cranes acquired as part of the deal to expand in industrial and commercial construction.

The company’s 47 staff will transfer across to Bridgend, which was launched in 2003.
