Liskeard town regeneration plans

A strategy for the development of residential, retail, and business land in Liskeard, south-east Cornwall will be central to a new town plan soon to be published by the district council.

A draft for the scheme, which includes the regeneration of the town centre, has been completed and outlines a framework for potential future development in the county over the next 10 to 20 years.

Chairman of Caradon District Council's asset management group, councillor Hugh Francis, said the final plan would pinpoint “a number of potential sites for regeneration”.
