London housing framework £100m

Hyde Housing Association is looking for contractors to bid for a £100 million framework deal to revamp ex-local authority housing across London.
Up to five contracts worth £20 million each will be let to bring the potential housing transfer estates up to the Government's Decent Homes standard by 2010.

Upgrading communal facilities and residential new build will also come under the deal in each contract.

A maximum of eight bidders will be invited to tender for the three-year deal with an option to extend for a further three years.

Firms have until the beginning of June to express an interest.
