London showcases project opportunities in India

Construction opportunities in India are being showcased to firms in the UK at a business conference in London next week.

The ‘Building World Class Cities in India’ conference, hosted by UK Trade & Investment London, will include an overview of forthcoming construction projects.

Advice on financial and business practices and cultural attitudes, and a description of the public-private partnerships in the country’s transport and sanitation systems will also be on the agenda.

Representatives from consultancy firm Arup and equipment specialist JCB will talk about their business experiences.

The conference will be held next Thursday (10 January) at the Foreign & Commonwealth Building. For more information, go to http://www.uktradeinvest.gov.uk/ukti/london or ring 020 7234 3050.
