London Waiting list at Royal College

Contracts

FIVE firms are bidding for a £10 million project to refurbish the Royal College of Nursing, London.

The roll-call is Try Interiors; Mansell; Kvaerner; HBG and Willmott Dixon.

Laing originally featured in the line-up, but is understood to have pulled out.

A project source said: 'Try and Mansell have put a lot of hard work into their tenders. My money would be on them to be there or thereabouts at the death.'

Work on the Cavendish Square headquarters is due to start before Christmas and will last for a year.
